Situated in Snowdonia National Park, the award-winning Penmachno Hall is a former Rectory dating from 1862. It boasts country-house rooms, fine food and the River Glasgwm meanders through its gardens.
The themed bedrooms at Penmachno feature modern conveniences including free Wi-FI and CD players. They also include satellite TVs and most have seating areas.
Penmachno Hall has a large entrance hall, featuring a grandfather clock and wooden floors, which lead to reception rooms where guests can relax in. These have deep sofas, log fires and a selection of board games.
Hearty breakfasts are served in the morning room, with its large bay windows offering countryside views. The fine Welsh cuisine dinner menu boasts local venison and lamb (available by prior request on Tuesday to Saturday only).
